Dinner Theatre

Rolling Hills School was buzzing with excitement last week as students took to the stage for the school’s annual Dinner Theatre—an annual tradition that continues to shine. This year’s production, a comedic spin on classic children’s stories, brought beloved characters like Cinderella, the Big Bad Wolf, Hansel and Gretel, and more to life with a humorous twist that had the audience laughing from start to finish.

The evening was a sell-out success, with 110 guests filling the gym to enjoy a hearty chili supper, delicious desserts, and an evening of live entertainment. The performance was the culmination of months of preparation and dedication by more than 16 talented students under the direction of Ms. Kobelsky. Rehearsals took place during countless lunch hours and every Tuesday after school for the past two months—evidence of the students’ remarkable commitment.

The audience was treated to dazzling performances filled with energy, expression, and comedic timing. From scene-stealing wolves to sassy fairy tale characters, our students truly brought the stories to life in unexpected and delightful ways.

While the production demanded hard work, it also offered a great deal of joy and learning. Students involved gained valuable skills such as teamwork, public speaking, and self-confidence—skills that will benefit them far beyond the stage.

Feedback from the evening was overwhelmingly positive, with many in the audience already asking what’s in store for next year. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to Ms. Kobelsky, the staff of Rolling Hills School, and the many volunteers who helped make this night a success.

We can’t wait to do it again!
