Mrs. Halsema's PreK and Kindergarten classes had a super fun lesson learning all about weather! ![]()
![]()
They explored different types of weather and talked about how the sky can give us clues about what the weather might be like, helping us decide things like what to wear or how to stay safe outside.
The students created their own cloud spotter cards and took them outdoors to observe the sky, practicing their observation skills ![]()
This kind of learning helps build curiosity, early science skills, and awareness of the environment around them.
To top it all off, they made a delicious “sky snack” with blue Jello for the sky, fluffy whipped cream clouds, and a bright rainbow candy
, a fun, hands-on way to reinforce what they learned while making the experience memorable and exciting!
