Rolling Hills is a small rural community in the southern central portion of the province of Alberta. The community is agricultural based and the town serves a population of about 600 residents including the surrounding farms. The community has a full sized indoor skating rink and a curling rink with two sheets of ice for winter recreation and a nine hole golf course for summer activities. The community hall is a large modern structure that is capable of hosting events and public gatherings with as many as 250 people. "Cookie Connection" is an volunteer-run organization which prepares cookie dough to support the school and various other community organizations.
The school population varies between 75-90 students, and offers instruction from ECS to grade nine. Our students benefit from being able to use the community recreational resources as well as a full sized gymnasium for sports and cultural activities. We are fortunate, due to community support of many fundraisers, to offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities to our students, such as sports programs, ski trips, educational field trips, and swimming lessons.
